THE SUMMER OF SPRITZ
This summer we continued our work with Campari on their Casa Aperol campaign, bringing an Amalfi-inspired escape to the shores of non other than Australia’s most famous beach – Bondi Beach.
The event, in partnership with House Made Hospitality Group, saw a pop-up bar, kitchen and entertainment venue constructed on the promenade at the southern end of the iconic Bondi Pavilion. With a mere 5 weeks from concept to delivery, this project was an action-packed project for our team to finish the year on.
Maake Creative is proud to have managed this project from conceptualisation to installation and to have assisted with live operations. Elements of this incredible space were able to be constructed off-site in modular elements and delivered, others were constructed from scratch on site. The location of this project presented many unique challenges and we’re incredibly grateful for the assistance of all of our wonderful suppliers who came on-board for another epic event.
“With a breezy bar serving up drinks and a summer-ready food menu designed for beachside enjoyment, the Bondi Beach promenade will be transformed into a Mediterranean-inspired oasis adorned with lush greenery open seven days a week, all summer long. As well as fresh sea breezes and stunning views of Bondi Beach, you can expect DJs on the decks every Sunday and lucky door-prize giveaways on Sundays.
