The Hermès pop-up Le Monde d’Hermès kiosk, has been spotted at Azabudai Hills Central Square in Tokyo, Japan, on May 23-26. This kiosk gives a glimpse into the creative and diverse world of Hermès while catching the eyes of the public with its vibrant orange. However, this isn’t the first time we have seen the Le Monde d’Hermès kiosk. It has hit major cities worldwide including Barcelona, Singapore, Knokke, Rotterdam, Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, Manila, Taiwan and had its debut in Prague in autumn of 2021. Each location provides a unique insight into the brand as well as allowing local audiences to engage with Hermès in a novel and personal way.
Visitors can receive personalised bookmarks, engage in classic board games, enjoy live music and partake in perfume workshops. The range of activities ensures there’s something for everyone, and therefore, more appealing to a wider demographic.
Le Monde d’Hermès, the publication that inspired the kiosk, offers readers a chance to explore the brand’s collections and philosophies through narratives and imagery. The travelling kiosk brings this publication to life, allowing visitors to physically and emotionally connect with the brand. It’s an embodiment of Hermès’ commitment to storytelling, creativity, and craftsmanship.
The kiosk’s successful journey shows the global appeal and versatility of the Hermès brand. In each city, the kiosk incorporates elements that resonate with local audiences, whether through language, specific activities, or visual displays. This adaptability ensures that the Hermès brand feels both globally consistent and locally relevant. Hermès has continued to captivate the world, one city at a time.
